Event Noise Management was founded to address the specific requirements of the festivals and live events industry, providing a comprehensive range of services that focus on effective noise risk assessment, management and monitoring.
We understand that ensuring the safety of concert, events and festivals entails effective control of noise levels, which is why we specialise in this area.

Our dedicated event noise team, located in High Wycombe but serving clients nationwide, possesses extensive experience and the necessary qualifications to deliver exceptional noise management consultancy services. Here's a brief overview of some of our key offerings:
CALVIN HANKS
MSc, MSc, PgC, CMIOSH, MCIEH, FIIRSM, TechIOA, MIFSM
Calvin has been working in event safety including noise management for over 25 years and is highly experienced in preparing noise management plans, liaison with local authority noise nuisance teams, live event noise management and post event reporting. His experience in noise management includes large scale fireworks displays, including those set to music, concerts, festivals and more.
He holds both an MSc in Environmental Health and the Institute of Acoustics Certificate in Environmental Noise Monitoring as well as being a Technician Member of the Institute of Acoustics.
MIKE LANGFORD
PgC, MSc, CertIOSH, MIIRSM, MCIEH
Mike has over 10 years experience in event safety including noise management, supported by postgraduate qualifications in health & safety and environmental health.
His experience includes concerts, festivals, community Mela and more.
JAMES LACKOVIC
MMus, BMus(Hons), CMgr FCMI, FBII, CertIOSH, AIFireE, MIFSM
James comes from a live music background which gives him an exceptional understanding of noise. Alongside his health & safety qualification, he can tell you all about one third octave bands and can spot a rogue frequency with ease!
His experience in noise management includes festival, events, concerts, clubs and much more.
STEVE JAMES
CEnvH, MCIEH, DMS, DipEH, Dip Acoustics
Steve has extensive experience in environmental health and managed noise management for events including Notting Hill Carnival as well as working as an EHO in out of hours noise nuisance. These give him a vast knowledge of noise and noise management to help guide your event and liaise with local authority noise management.
NICKY SLAVID
BSc (Hons), CEnvH, REnvH, CertIOSH
A qualified environmental health officer, Nicky brings extensive experience in environmental health and of course, this includes noise management.
She has worked with clients large and small and brings a knowledgeable approach to your event.
JENNIFER MCKEOWN
BSc, MSc, REnvH, FRSPH, MCIEH
As a registered Environmental Health Officer (EHO), and holds the Institute of Acoustics Certificate of Competence in Environmental Noise Measurement and has significant experience in event noise monitoring.
Currently, she is further enhancing her expertise by studying for an MSc in Air Pollution Management and Control.
